I managed to get my hands on a pair of the new version of Grover SR interconnects and have them burning in on my system right now.

So far they sound atleast as good as the previous version, detailed impressions to come.

Wait are you saying this is already Grover SR MkII? We just got SR a few months ago.

Do they look the same as original SR?

DA,

They look the same but are a bit "stickier" like the speaker cable. I'm not sure if they've been released yet, but I was set up with this pair to test out and give impressiosn on.

Well, so far I'm really liking these cables on my Meridian. I haven't figured out what it is precisely, but to my ears I feel like I'm percieving an increased density to music with a more full bottom end and subtly airier top end... overall there just seems to be an increased sense of rightness.

I'm hesitant to say anything committing yet though, as I do not know how much of what I am expereincing is placebo. A DBT is not really an option right now, but after another day or two of burn in I'm gonna put my radioshack 2 way rca splitters on my Meridian and do some direct A/Bing.

More to come.
