ZCable's Z-Sleeve?

What do you think about ZCable's Z-Sleeve: http://www.zcable.com/z-sleeves.cfm ? I read two reviews from The Stereo Times and one from 6Moons that basically raved about the different offerings of the Z-Sleeves but I have a bit of skepticism over whether to purchase them as a part of my upcoming BPT BP.Jr II Ultra Signature Upgrade Mods.

Is it just me or do I think these are something like Bybee quantum / slipstream purifiers?

Should I go ahead and try them out or should I save the $100 USD from the $500 USD price tag for the BPT Signature Upgrade Mods?

Hi Welly,

I would suggest you give them a try. Mark has an unconditional return policy, so it would be hard to go wrong. I have several of the ZSleeves and find they have helped. I have the Ultra on my ZCable Digital Duet going into my DAC2 and at least in my set up, it really blacken the blackground.

You also mention the mods for the BP 3.5 Signature, which I think has the ZSleeves incorporated into it along with the ERS sheets.

Thanks. I'll pony up the money for the most basic Z-Sleeve. If I find it does something positive (like system synergy), then I will upgrade. Uh oh. My po' wallet!

Welly,

You should give Mark a call before you order and he probably can give you some insight as to working with you system. He is very easy to talk with.

Actually, I get one Z-Sleeve (basic model) with my BPT Signature Upgrade package deal for my BPT BP.Jr II Ultra. So, I don't have to contact Mr. Hampton.
