Unique Melody Martian: UM's New 2DD + 2BA Universal-only IEM

No offence mate, but I don't believe in burn in (and fancy cable materials)! I like the Martian a lot based on how it sounds right now already. I am more than sure I will never notice a change after x hours.

Haha up to u..
Usually burn-in can feel that Mids with treble and Mids-bass improve a lot.

Should let it burn-in at least 200 hours.
The result was unexpected

I always wondered is the burn in for a pair of new iem really that necessary ? For Dynamic driver probably , but for BA .. ?
I ever come across this article , which makes me think , if it was really all inside our head playing tricks ? Or is all down to just about having the proper fit , and seal ?
Cos we know , different buds give out different signature . Even it's on with the same buds , over time it will loosen out , and end up not having the same optimum when it's new , or it can be vice versa . I experienced new and used bud has indeed gave out a big difference in sounding , fit , sealing .

I think those are the most important for a iem , and their optimum really give a make or break to the iem , sonically .

And I guess the best chance to have a demo on those mavis , maverick , mason is when there's one or 2 to be flip on our shores , buy/ sell used market .

Burn-in the best thing is improved an over the original sound frequency.
Actually is the cable itself and minor related to IEM.

Cause I'd had 2 cables of Alo Sxc24 both are MMCX socket for my CA Andromeda.
The A is bought with Jupiter has been usage in period.
The B was new bought and come with Andromeda.

When I am found that B without burn-in enought from my Mids-Bass was lacking.
Once swap from A, the sounds sig all changed to became much pretty smooth than like Jupiter, unlike the B cable, light Mids-Bass and unsmooth treble and Mids else.

IMO both are same cable, just the duration times are difference and the sound sig may diff too.

So nothing to stop me an burn-in progress for all new IEM and cable as well

You might be correct , whatever , it's always good to have someone sharing his honest feedback / user experience within the community . So that notes can be taken down .

At the same time thinking of burning a hole in your wallet as well

Hee hee , you're a believer . A worshipper :L3000:
