Listening to my TCD 910 right now.
Greatest cassette deck ever.

Forget Nakamichi and Revox, Pioneer and Alpine or whatever people naively talk about.

Not many left, though.

Want one?
Put up adds in Norway sites about HiFi.

I know it's been a few years since you asked.
Better late than never.

well,

in all these years.

it's the arcam delta with dolby S, which is the best tape-deck ever....

forget tandberg tcd 910/911. it's the arcam for 300 euro's.

but, if you are a purist and you want to have the best

go for r2r = nagra,studer,telefunken, ampex

also DAT is better than cassette.

to me, the best format is R2R.

Dolph

More years have elapsed:)

I picked up a TCD/910 "as is". Unfortunately Ive yet to able to listen to it as it needs work. Where do you get yours serviced?

Also Im a little unclear on the purpose of a 910/911 tandem. Does this mean that playback on a 911 from a 910 recording will sound better then the 910?  Does the 911 have recording  functionality?

Best

Mike
