Help Todd, my DT 660's are cracking :(

The 660's are cracking in the cover over the slider mechanism, and are threatining to break the molding where the screws screw into. They sound wonderful, but $200 headphones shouldn't crack, should they? I'm wondering if I can exchange them for something with a sturdy headband and a similar refinement level in the same price range; ie: HD555's. Any help or tips you can give me will be appreciated.

I want to apologize to Todd for my previous post, I now realize that it was inappropriate and Todd has always given me his best service when he could, and the problems I was experiencing with my headphones are not his fault. I have and will continue to do business with Todd, and I have always, and continue to commend him for his great level of honesty and kindness regarding transactions, and his willingness to help whenever a problem arose. I have had bad luck in the past dealing with hi-fi dealers, but I've never once came up with a problem with Todd's service. Sorry, and thanks again.
