I've already agreed for my poor choice of wording there. Let's not beat a dead horse, please. I think the commitment between Dunu and Fiio is to be commended and I very much enjoy both of their products.

It will be very interesting to see how EM3 will be work with my fiio e17k

I'm interested in seeing a frequency response plot of the EM3 to compare against other IEMs.

Just got an Amazon notification that my EM3's were delivered. I wasn't expecting them till next week. Today will be a good day.

I would like to see more accesories on the EM3 earphones, like the case for EX1.

I would Love have these as my first FiiO product, ive been wanting to get one of your pmps or dac/amp combos for awhile now. =) an iem would be nice.

Nice to see actual earbuds (which I grew up on) and not earphones, however, the fit can be a little tricky. Are there any other attachments to aid with fit aside from the foam sleeves?

Not really any useful feedback, but if I do manage to win a pair, I can use them for something I plan to do next month.

I'm trying to set up a blind test to see the effects of expectation and confirmation bias. It's just a small test for fun, where I play the same file, claiming to be playing music ranging from heavily compressed mp3 to lossless rips. I will use different looking headphones and try to set up different expectations (claim for some that the lime green Q701 is a gamery poor quality headphone for some volunteers and say that the onboard audio for my laptop is broken so I'm using a usb dac simply because without it, I can't even play sound. For others, I'll just show the price for the q701 and the dac/amp combo on amazon, hopefully bringing up their expectations regarding the resolution they can hear), as well as invite people to bring their own gear.

I also want to mix in a few files of different compression rates if I have time to see if the compression rate does make that much of a difference, but the main goal is to play the same file and let the user make up the difference.

I do want to add a few more pieces of equipment, ranging from aesthetically pleasing IEMs to cheap looking but well respected monitors to see the impact that may have on a person's judgment, and these EM3's are definitely worth adding in.

This is just a casual experiment with friends, so I don't want to go too serious. Hopefully we can get a good laugh after I reveal that they were listening to the same thing.
