DIY or 3rd party/aftermarket cable for my Audio Technica ATH-R70x

Hello everyone,

I recently purchased a pair of Audio Technica's ATH R70x headphones, and while I am very happy with my purchase the single included cable is often too long to be used confortably. I was wondering if there were any shorter aftermarket cables I could buy. Failing that, is there any good tutorials or videos which could instruct me how to make my own?

This reviewer seems to have made their own

Thanks in advance for any help anyone can offer me. :)
