Highbrow: Anything involving Mos Def

Fun: Ludacris, Missy Elliott, Timbaland

From My Youth: Cypress Hill (Black Sunday in particular)

Foreign: NTM (Even if you don't speak French, it's just adorable how hard they try to sound intimidating.)

Compilation: Soundbombing Vol II

Turntablism: Kid Koala (Ninjatune is amazing), Qbert

Why has nobody mentioned Flobots yet?  They might be Alternative Rap/Alternative Hip-Hop but it's pretty much my favorite rap group.  "Fight with Tools" (2007) is the main one to check out by them.

Onomatopoeia was out in 2001 but that was before they where called Flobots.  Agreed 2004 is probably to early, but I was more so commenting about the recent three posts.  Maybe they haven't discovered them yet, I can only hope it's that. ;D  Handlebars gets stuck in your head, and Rise is a powerful song that get's stuck in your head.
