id love to go but i might need to know the exxact date of the meet .Things will get busy here soon as to healthcare and i might have a hard time taking some time off.
also i have to arrange things to have my wife and son come along and go somewhere while im at the meet.

I will let you about the date asap. There is a pool in my development that they could use. They are certainly welcome at the house. Hopefully, you can work something out.

Hey Guys..
Looks like all us usual suspects are going to meet up again.. Guru should be back soon, at least in time for the Fall Semester.. It would be great if everyone's plans work out, and we have a big meet again.. If so, we will be the envy of the rest of the head-fi.. two big meets in less than 6 months..

Mitchel, since you responded early, we can definitely find place for you..One more is never 'too many'.. The main purpose of meets like this is to let new guys hear the high-end stuff which they wouldn't be able to otherwise.. So, hang on, and make plans to attend the meet when a date is finalized..

Suddenly October seems too far away..

I'd love to go, but Oct. isn't good for me at work. Also it's a few hours away....

But if we ever get one going around the Naples area or something, I've got some nice EAW's at work I could probably drag along

I wish I could attend this meeting and the other florida meet, but I am in northwest florida. I'd love to meet some fellow headphone lovers. =)

Maybe sewer guy will have one up in Leesburg again next year. Thats a little closer to you.

Naples, that's practically around the corner. Just jump on 75 and you'll be hear in 1h 15m. We want the EAW's, whatever they are.

I'll do my best to stop by( I'm actually in FT. Myers 45 minutes north of naples). But we're pretty busy around that time. I'll know better when dates are locked in and we're closer to october.

Check HERE for EAW's I also have some somewhat decent QSC amps to drive them. But someone else may have a better amp.

Uhhhhhh, those are full size speakers, no? Not that this would be a bad thing, but it might be a hassle for you to haul them across alligator alley.

EDIT: Ok, now I see... in your original post, you mentioned that you could drag them along if there were a meet closer to Naples. It makes more sense to me now.

Nah we have smallish ones. Not the full sized concert ones. Not sure of the exact model, I'll post that tommorow when I get into work.

They're fun. And they get really really loud

I live in a house not an armory. Fort Myers is a bit more of a drive. Let us know when the date gets a little closer.

It looks like I am going to Chicago the weekend of October 9 so I propose Sat. October 23, 2004 as the date for the meet at my house. Let me know whether there is any interest and if so, whether the date is okay. It doesn't have to be that day. I just can't do it the weekend of October 9, 16, November 6. I figure I can fit between 10 and 15 people with equipment. Let me know.

Great. Craig from Eddie Current is going to send an HD25 and hopefully a new solid state amp he is working on.
