500+ Head-Fier
I have recently become interested in IEMs due to their convenience and isolation. I currently have the Klipsch X10, which are very impressive sounding to me.
I was curious about how the size of the IEM driver openings affects sound in general. With IEMs like the X10 and the Shure SE models, the Comply foam tip size is T-100. IEMs like most Sennheiser ones are the T-500 size. Does this bigger size give an overall better sound in your experience? I would assume the bigger size gives a fuller sound with more depth, bit that's just a guess since I've only tried the smaller sized Klipsch and Shure IEMs.
