I recently started using the Maha 9.6V batteries. Got not much to say about them yet. Just after I started using them my amp broke( no the batteries weren't to blame

). It's fixed already but it's still somewhere between Canada and here.
The only thing I noticed so far is that the midrange was far more forward than with a meta mint and AD8620 op amp. than with an 8.4V or alkaline.

Anyway, back on the charger. I saw it and though I might as well let you all know. I use the Ansmann Energy 8 (Thanks lini, you were right!) to charge my 9.6V. Quite an expensive charger and only a good choice if need to charge most of the other sized batteries too. It seems that there are very few good affordable 9.6V fast chargers and this one seems to be a nice one. With international powersupply options and all.

Thanks for the product info, Lisa. I'm glad to see that Maha has a 9v charger that is smaller and less expensive than their 10 channel 9v charger, but which has the power technology features of the larger charger.

Just received this charger with four 9.6 v Maha batteries from Thomas Distributing. It works quite well. Recharged all four batteries to 10.8 v in just under an hour. Also works with my 8.4V batteries.

I really wish this model was available when I bought Maha's 10 channel version of this charger. I'm not sure if I'll ever need to charge 10 9.6v's at the same time, though I've charged 6 of them at once before.
