I have no idea. But given what I've read in these forums, it's hard to best the 1212m. Of course, I'd be very happy if the Aureon bests it, since that would mean I could use it w/ my laptop

Try Toms Hardware if reviews from there worth anything. But I'd love to see audiophile version of review for Aureon.

I wasn't interested enough in it to find the price when I ran across it a couple months ago; I just knew it existed and wanted to demonstrate my vast knowledge of arcane computer hardware
