with the G cushions because the bass is more present). Answer: absolutely there is a difference. I'm using a Cayin N6 as source and with Gs the sound opens up and warms slightly (pleasantly). The vocals are slightly more forward in the mix and the soundstage left-right is more 'joined up'. With the stock cushions there might possibly be a little more detail in the treble and less bass (which I prefer anyway), but vocals sound a little more isolated and slightly recessed into the mix.
I agree Joseph. but I still don't understand how the GH-1 manages to let us take advantage of everything that the G-cush can provide, buyt yet, manages to avoid it's shortcomings.
