Which mp3 Encoder

What is the best sole CD to mp3 encoder ? i need a program similiar to Audiocatalyst. where it has a choice from 112kbps to 320, preferably something that goes to 320kbps. and has good solid quality code. CDDB is preffered if not its no big deal.

Here's a guide how to set it up. Doing it this way makes great MP3s.

Damn you all, now I have to rerip all of my cd's!! I just tried EAC and wow, what a difference compared to my musicmatch rips.

I swear every time I come here I either have to spend loads of money or try some new software....grumble.......

Just start coming here first. EAC really does a good job. Have you tried the Foobar player for your PC?

THanks everyone, got EAC and lame fired up today, thats what i needed.

Windows media player even at 192 was just horrible. this is nice. thankyou

This always amazes me when I hear this....I've compared EAC with the higher custom settings on musicmatch and I swear I can't tell the difference
