Singlepower PPX3 upgrades

When ordering a PPX3, what upgrades are recomended? Are there certain upgrades that are 'no-brainers' considering the price/preformance ratio?

As I heard from Mikhail, the most common is simply the first stage of the upgraded Solen output caps. Outside of this, the upgrades get pretty spendy for a PPX3.

I think so. I think the neutrik jack for $25 is another good option. The treble is improved and the new ppx3 has increased refinement with the solen stage 1 upgrade. I am getting this option on mine.

Are these the only upgrades recommended for the ppx3? I'm new at tube amps, and don't have a clue what the upgrades really do.

Are you asking abouyr Mikhail? If so you should email him to get his number. He usually emails back pretty quickly.

don't be surprised if you have trouble getting a message back from him though at the moment... their email server has been dropping email lately for some reason. He did follow up with me though and make sure I got a reply to my questions.

I emailed him 4 days ago and have not yet recieved a response, should I email him again?

That's strange. I emailed 12 hours ago and he replied a few hours later. I have had emails to him bounce a couple of times a few weeks ago but it seems to be fine now. Maybe your email required him to find something out from somewhere else?

No, I just asked for information about the ppx3 and any possible upgrades. I sent the message to sales@... not the info@... address if that means anything.

Probably should send it to the info@... address instead of the sales@.... one. AFAIK, Mikhail uses the sales@.... one for ordering/receiving payment purposes only and I'm not sure how often he checks on that one.

email him again... what I heard is that it was the outgoing server that was having issues. But also try the info@ address instead... makes more sense for questions.

He may still be having some problems with the outgoing server. I just received an e-mail from him this morning (it would have been around 4.23am mountain time) that he had sent yesterday around 2pm.
