I own several iems, but have never experimented with DAC/Amps. Reading around, it seems that there are great benefits to using them. Currently my source is an iphone 6 and most of my library is from Beats Music. I know, it's not the greatest quality, but I pay a great monthly price for the service and lost most of my old library. Can anyone recommend a good starter set? Also, do I have to be concerned with my iems matching or is there an all arounder that would match well with most IEMs? I've seen Fiio a lot and the prices seem great, but don't know which one to pick. Budget is $100 - $150. Thanks!

Ibasso D-Zero MkII - works with the iPhone when using the CCK. You can even put the phone on a sync dock to keep it upright on a desk - I do the same with my Galaxy S3 and the D-Zero MkI.
 


 

 
Not sure how much help that would be with your IEMs though - they're generally very efficient and won't need a lot of current. I only sometimes use the D-Zero with my ASG-1.3 (despite the 125db sensitivity) but only because the SGS3 distorts a bit and the boosted bass on the IEMs only makes that more audible.
