I'm looking to replace a pair of Denon AH-C551 earphones that I accidentally put in the wash. They still "work" but the bass response isn't what it used to be after getting water logged.

If you've listened to/owned the AH-C551, you know it adds a bit of a punch to the bass which I liked for my style of music (rock, metal, hip hop/r&b, electronic). I'm listening to a lot more electronic music lately (e.g. prog house, dubstep). The highs are decent and mids average (could use a bit more clarity at times, but not a huge deal) I'd say. I'm not an audiophile by any means, but I know what I like the sound of.

Does anyone know if the Denon AH-C120MA are a good replacement pair? I couldn't find any review for it on head fi.

My budget is ~$100.
