Amp for 580s

I've got an Airhead and some 580s and I'm wondering if there are better (but still pretty cheap) amps for these headphones.

They sound good but they don't sound amazing, I feel like I'm missing something.

Porta Corda might be a good solution to replace the Air Head with. You can also try to get a altoid amp from JMT.

See! It's not uncommon for people to use Sennheiser HD580/HD600 for portable use!

HeadRoom Supreme is great. It's a bit expensive for a portable amp though. Costs more than my home amp! Lol.

Anyone had any luck with...

I saw a post where someone said try to get an altoids amp from JMT. Anyone been able to get one? Ive been lurking for some time (finally registered at the invitation of Dusty Chalk) and sent an email a while back requesting info but alas no response.

Anyway, am very interested in this amp but have no electronic skills!

Yeah, i lug them around on the train all the time...dont hear a damn thing, but the hell, its all about the looks

Welcome to Head-Fi apple2k and 2 channel.

The cheapest way to go would be to contact JMT and let him know that you are using the Senns.
He is great to work with and his prices can't be beat.
Look up his profile and either send him a PM (Personal Message) or an email.
Both options will be available when you bring up his profile.
