Issues on electrostatic headphones

Hello,

I have a friend that said that electrostatic and orthodynamic have more issues than dynamic headphones. Is it true ? Since there are rarer technologies, the technology is less well known.

Thank you for your answer !

What kind of issues? I don't know of any issues. They are more difficult to drive. But that has nothing to do with them being a "rare" technology. It's the nature of their design.

On electrostatic, the driver can have defect really early, from a friend of mine. But if it doesn't have a defect, it can last long. Is it true ?

And another friend had his LCD3 broken, due to aging. So Aude'ze replaced with a fazor model. So, that's why I think it's more defects.
