Protable Amp To Drive My Sony MDR-EX650AP Buds?

Hi, new guy here looking for a little advice.

I'm looking at a portable amplifier to power my EX650's from my iPhone 6. I don't have a massive budget (around £50) but I've been looking at Fiio's range of goodies.

I mainly listen to trance and techno and I don't mind buying second hand.

Cheers in advance.

Fiio E11K is an excellent choice that fits your budget.

However, the Sony MDR-EX650AP are fairly sensitive headphones at 107dB/mW, and your phone ought to be able to drive them fairly loud. What do you hope to get out of a headphone amp?

Cheers for the reply. I'm after a better sound than I already have. I've currently got my iPhones default 'electronic' setting on the eq because I prefer a deeper sound but it sounds very quiet now, so volume boost is desirable. I'm also listening to .wav and .flac qualty recordings and I'd like a little more clarity.

Another question is if any of the Fiio amplifiers have eq settings?

The E11K has a bass boost, and it will provide more power than your iPhone.
