I'm die hard Cubs, but "The Kid" is my favorite player of all time.

Griffey is the only non-Cubs player jersey I would wear.

How about impressions from the meet? ;)

It was the best meet I've been too yet. A great turnout and much of the best gear this world has to offer was there. I'm quickly becoming known as "the IEM guy. The Maestro was a hit. So was the Oriveti and Pinnacle.

I listened to the Chord Dave and Head Trip or Liquid Gold amp pushing the Ether, ZMF, and HD800. Pretty spectacular stuff I must say.

Jude is an awesome dude. Very down to Earth and kind as can be. I listened to him tell me the story of how Head-Fi was born. Truly awesome. We had quite a few laughs. Afterwards most of the guys went out for some beers and burgers. My wife, Zach's wife, and Claritas's wife had nice conversations. It's truly a day I won't forget.

The Chicago area Head-Fiers are awesome.

More to come, along with pictures, but right now I'm exhausted and need to put away the stuff I brought.

Cheers guys, Head-Fi rocks

The point of indulging in all these audio gears/ forums is to enjoy the music I have to it's fullest extent, take me to that place of zen where I can focus on what I have to do.

These Aurisonics Rockets does indeed rock wink.gif It's very easy to see why these were hyped, certainly one of the best IEM's I've ever heard.......

Very natural and non fatigue sound, top notch isolation, very comfortable to wear, well built and water resistant. Does any other Labster have experience with them?

Woah these sure look different! I like the red blue stripe on the cables, easy to identify L/R

Thanks! I've read it, I was one of many factors making me purchase them.

Shure535 is one of the worst IEMs I've ever heard. So if Aurisonics Rockets are anything like Shure535 then a big no from me as they have terrible treble.

I've never heard the 535 so can't comment on that. What I can say though is that I'd be very surprised if someone who loves the Havi B3 hates the Rockets. Although they're not that similar sounding they do share a very natural sound and a fantastic timbre and layering in the overall presentation.

Edit: to me the Rockets feel like the IEM version of the HD650 if that makes sense.

I'm selling my rockets if anyone is interested.

They are basically new. I listened to them twice.

Just to add, I agree with Peter that they sound great, I'm just not a fan of how they fit my awkward ears.

I'm an over the ear guy and these don't work for me
