I take it you'll be stocking up:D

Apparently, Canada has Pono now… I'll let you folks debate if that's a good or bad thing:)

Probably not going to see any better prices for the SanDisk - esp. since those Microdia cards seem to be vapourware, and there is no competition in that size.

@RedJohn456 you should check out the angled pads. I believe Peter tried out a pair an was pretty happy, and the pleather angles are more comfy than the standard on my hp150 (at least my ears aren't touching the earcups anymore)

The driver housing swivel and conforms quite easily so I am not sure if angled is the way to go. Will try regular velours.

The Somic V2 sounds fantastic but the stock velour pads are a bit stiff. I am putting it down to it being new, am hoping it will soften up.

@Wokei, nice to see you pop in! biggrin.gif

For any Canadians...... If you want in on the Amazon.com Sandisk 200gb mSD card $99 sale don't click on the link on the front page. That automatically opens Amazon.ca which has the same item listed for the low low price of $477.84 CAD. eek.gif I just hate Amazon Canada.

What I did was navigate to Amazon.com and clicked on the Black Friday deals and scrolled down to the item. Placed my order without an issue. Bought 2 actually. biggrin.gif

... and there is also an affiliate suffix tag attached to the link where head-fi get 6% referral fee from amazon for any purchase within 15 min after you click that link (either if you buy that sandisk card or anything else on amazon).

Well if they're getting 6% of $477 for an mSD card from Amazon Canada (which is an Internet joke with their pricing on almost anything electronic) that's amazing for Head Fi then. I side stepped the whole link and they're shipping them up North anyway.

@x RELIC x when you get your 200gb card can you post the available space? I've always thought that 200gb was an strange number in the memory realm, maybe the usable space is more in line (192gb?)

Just wondering…

Hello all! Just posted a review on the Rooth LSX5 universal iems. Mind you, there was a crack on the left shell but no sonic differences. Used it with Effect Audio SPC and ihifi 770C.

Hoping for some objective feedback too!

Just wondering…

Duncan has two of them in his AK120 and they show up as 183.30gb each.

I read that the 200gb size is from the limit of the current nanometer production scale. I guess they literally can not fit more cels in the mSD footprint.
