So I usually just buy another pair of Sony MH1c earbuds when they break as i find they sound good with electronic music and live music but i am wanting to upgrade this time to something better. I have a budget of around $150. What would you guys recommend in terms of best sound quality for edm music and live music? Thanks

if you can increase your budget by an extra $40, I strongly recommend the Audio Technica CKR9. It can be found at amazon.com for $189. Its my current favorite for Electronic music.
