I literally grabbed it off Xin's workbench! - Page 2

I've ordered one yesterday but I guess I will have to wait couple weeks for me to get it

I had to sell my Micro to buy SD but now I just can't listen to any music w/o an amp ((

quote Xintech:

Due to overwhelming demand, we have had problems keeping up with
production. We apologize for delays and are very grateful for your
understanding.

This morning I received a reply from Xintech saying that my Superdual has the upgrade in it. I ordered it on 6/9 and got it last Friday. Based on Xin's first-in-first serve principle, those who ordered after 6/9 might have got yours with the upgrade.

Come on down! Be good to see you guys; we need to talk schedules though with the holiday coming

Bob-

What do you think the chances are that we see the alt. form factor Dual or the fancier cases? I was going to buy a production model as soon as the new colored cases hit the streets, but this may give me a reason to hold off. Do tell, kind Sir....

Update@ 125hrs

Hey, sorry to let this thread hang so long. Social and business life has overtaken the spiritual.

At this point, the little SuperDual has has gained a nice patina of warmth, air and transparency and seems as burned in as its going to get. As with other Xinamps, small changes may still occur as time goes by, but it seems most of burn-in artifacts have occurred. At around 80-90 hours there was a small spike in brightness, but that seems to have settled back down and the highs are as smooth and fine as can be.

Doing the A-B with the XP-7 this morning, with fresh perspective as there hasn't been time to really listen for a few days, I was taken aback for just a split second. It was just spooky to switch to such different amps to hear almost the same sound.

Quality wise, my opnion is that its still a draw. The SuperDual is still a sliver better in Bass detail and tautness, and the XP-7 is a sliver better in detail and air in the upper midrange...

Outrageous! I've run out of words...

Chris:
There was no discussion of when this may occur so don't hold your breath, he who hesitates will probably end up on the waiting list.

Chief RB:
Mahagony popsicle sticks! You are a gourmet!
