Philips, Sennheiser or Sony?

Hey guys,

I just joined the forum after reading it quite some times since I'm new to audio and want to learn more about it.

I'm about to get my first pair of good headphones (I already have the Skullcandy Aviators to use with my cellphone, but I'm not sure if it is considered "quality" headphones) and I have narrowed down to these:

- Sennheiser HD 518 - R$ 560,00 (208 dollars)

-Philips Fidelio L2 - R$ 749,00 (279 dollars)

-Sony MDE-1R - R$ 798,00 (297 dollars)

So, they cost about the same price in my country, despite that the 518s are pretty expensive around here. I'll be using them in my room, connected directly into my computer's audio jack, mainly for music and some gaming. Oh, and I normally listen to a bit of everything, but mostly to rock, electronics and jazz. Considering my needs, which headphone is the better buy? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
