Haha, yeah. I forgot to take out my IM04 as well. That table sure was graced by some really good IEMs.

It would have been funny if one of you just blew a fuse and starting crushing them all with a hammer.

According to Jelt2359:  (Not in order)

First tier:

SE5 Ult; Lear LCM BD4.2; K10; A12

Second tier:

CT6E; H8P; Legend R

Third tier:

JH13; Encore

guys keep in mind that at this level it is much a matter of taste, source, music you listen to, etc. Some will put H8p over K10, some will prefer Jh13 to SE5,some dislike the Lear and might like the Encore more. This is HIS ranking. It is a great indicator, but just one of many to take into account, the first and foremost being your own ears whenever possible.

True words.

Although you may find a CIEM which in certain technical aspects may be actually better than the other top one irrespective of the sound signature/music preferences. For example, for me up to date I haven't heard any CIEM/IEM matching 5way Ref's separation.

Well said!

Btw those are preliminary indications, before I actually put numerical scores to things. smily_headphones1.gif

I LOVE the se5 ult soundstage, but when it comes to separation, the A12 is really something else.

Just curious if any of the TOTL CIEM fans, here, have tried their hand at building their own CIEMs?
