Optical cable, where to buy

I know this has just been recently discussed, that glass optical is better than plastic optical.

Can you guys suggest any reputable vendors that sell glass or plastic optical cables?

The monster cables are REALLY EXPENSIVE, $75 for a 1m cable

I bought mine from eBay - came out to $41 shipped for a 2M cable.

I believe the guy's username is 'capnstarsnstripes' or something similar.

MCM electronics has some glass optical cables for cheap.

I bought one of the MCM Glass optical cables. The construction of the cable ends where the connectors are seems less solid than the cables I get from: www.av-cables.net Sonicwave Glass Toslink cables, 1m $35, 2m $45, 3m $51. av-cables specifically gives their cables a lifetime warranty. MCM doesn't list any warranty on their cables that I could find. MCM's price for a 1m Glass Optical cable is $27. Now I have 2 from av-cables and 1 from MCM. At this point, they sound the same. I'll see which wears better.

At Cables America, the prices for Sonicwave Glass Toslink cables are: 1m $60, 2m $70, 3m $80.
