The joy of silver

A week ago I decided to purchase some additional interconnects since I've added an EMU 1212M & Gilmore Lite (SOON!) to my setup. I ordered a pair of Headphile EMU CPU Series and ended up sending them back because I thought they were too short (compared them to an IC that I thought was shorter than it actually is). I thought since I was waivering on copper/silver decision previously, I might as well take the opportunity to go with the silvers.
Just received the BlackSilvers yesterday, and am amazed at how much a difference there is between the Zu Disco copper interconnects I was using previously (and they're not even close to being burned in!). In fact I'm sitting here listening to a 44khz/16khz .wav file and laughing my ass off from how detailed my Senn HD 595s sound through my Allen&Heath DJ mixer. Props to Larry at Headphile for building outstanding custom interconnects!!!

That's interesting, I was thinking of buying some zu disco's off ebay, but maybe I will think again, I am still trying to find a new IC for my upcoming emu 1212m also, gonna just keep my current zu pivot lying around for whatever use it may serve, don't want to bother with adapters and y splitters.

I'm also thinking of the zu oxyfuel, but will give headphile another look at their cpu silver line up.

Good thing I like about the zu cable is, can find them cheap on ebay regularily.

Zu Disco sounds good for it's price. Looks like the cheapest Zu with silver is the Gede @ $199. Unfortunately I've never seen a 1/4"->RCA Zu Cable on eBay so you'd have to use an adaptor.

Yah, just the two rca->1/4" adapters, for my zu i'd have to use that + mini-dual rca Y cable of some sort.
