I'll stick with it guys and come back after a day or so. I think while they're quite good, the more tracks I test the less points I can give in versatility (at least without EQ)

Let me form a solid foundation!

Twilight zone moment.  No BS.  When I read your post - I have my X1 + E07K back (+stacker kit - I'll send pics later), into the Fidue A81 - listening to .......

Would there be any other tuning filters from other iems that could fit the T10i?

How are these compared to Audio Technica ATHIM70, IM02 / 03

My views from owning all four, but consider that the im03 is one of my favorite earphones of the last year.

T10i has a much better sound than the im70, really in a higher league. I was never a fan of this earphone and just have not gotten around to selling it. Just never did it  for me.

The 02/03 are a different story.  The T10i is not as detailed as the 02 and the T10i is warmer. Treble is better on 02, and maybe on the 03 as well.  03 has a warmer sound but still nowhere as near as teh T10i, especially on bass heavy tracks.

T10i has more bass than all three.

ATM-IM02/03 are more neutral, both, but especially the 02, have more air. Mids shine on these earphones. Mids are good on the T10i but can loose some to the mid bass bump that these can have.

T10i has a bigger soundstage, better punch on bottom end (sometimes too much as I have noted above), better bass extension and over all is really a different type of animal.

Hope this helps.

. If you could price the sound quality of the RHA T10i, what would you price it? Im just wondering if it can compete well with earphones $100-$200 the price point

Tough question, when one is happy with the sound, it shoots way above it's retail price, but when the bass gets bloaty and bleeds into the mids, then it under performs relative to its price.

I think overall it's appropriately priced.

The built quality is way past its price point, and the fit, as mentioned above, for me anyway, is like a glove. Even top tier earphones can't get that right half the time.

I agree with this.

The build is perhaps the best I have seen on any IEM.

I was looking closely at the build last night thinking you can get this type of quality craftsmanship for $200 USD while 1Plus2 cost over $1k. (sound aside)

Somethings in this hobby simply don't add up, period.

Never a truer word has been spoken.

I'm hoping they release a t10 V2 to address the bass issue (removable cable as well) and I will be all over it. It was the build quality and 3 year warranty that 1st pricked my interest in these IEM's. Like you said in an earlier post. The potential is there.

So how about it RHA?? Hell, I'll even pay the $299.00 for it.

Count me in for a truly reference T10i V2.  Don't worry about removable cable though - the fixed one you have will last a lifetime .....

Hey Brooko, How are you. I have not gone ahead with the A81 as yet. TBH I'm pretty happy with the gear I have and got a little upgradeitis which tends to happen when you visit headfi.

Still rocking with the DN1K's. I'm using them with my X3/iBasso D6 combo. Top little amp and the DN1K's seem to love the match.

Cheers.

1Plus2 is a 3 way hybrid IEM, made by a company called Tralucent Audio - standing 'the best' hybrid I have heard to date. Although every part of Its internal and outer design contribute towards outstanding performance (ie: pure silver cable / or silver/gold, acrylic shells) Its overall build is not on RHA level.
