Thanks, I just hope it works. I went a little higher than I had originally planned, but seeing as how the 555 and 777 typically bring $100-150 in good condition, with accessories, I thought I'd take a chance. There is no guarantee it will work, but I have fixed several PCDP's before, and I was feeling lucky (I should find out in a couple of days). I just hope none of the LCD display is messed up.

My avatar is sharp best MD player, Sharp MD-SS323. It has 13 preset DSP. Much much better than those of Sony R900 ( i have the R900). It also features 2 user define mode (adjust bass and treble), slot in design, and backlit lcd with dacing dudes.
It's like the D555 of MD player. It was 1999 model and priced the same as the MT831. So..an excellent md player.
