Will these make me hate mp3s?  I don't have "Golden ears" but I'm loving Google Music all access which I'm pretty sure delivers 320 mp3 quality.

They probably wont make you hate 320 Mp3. But they are good enough they will make you hate crappily recorded music.
When I first got my first pair of headphones I found so much noise and had no idea how much dynamic range mattered and can't believe alums with noticeable clipping actually get released.

EDIT: BTW does anyone else not like the fit of these? I can't stand the ear bud style of it just dangling. The cable noise is far to infuriating and behind the ear with the sports clips just doesn't fit half as good or as comfortable as  either of my ATM IEMs.

Hey guys, just wanted to give my update as promised on how I use the next and previous song function on Android devices. As most of you already know, the three button version won't work on Android devices, but you can program the play/pause button to do more than just play/pause. For example: if I press the play/pause button twice rapidly it will change to the next song. Personally I'm using the "Headset Button Controller" by Christoph Kober from the play store. Works like a charm! There are other similar apps that you can find as well.
Hope this helps! :)

Hey not to burst your bubble but are you sure the play/pause button did not have this feature already? I'm not saying all but most iems w/ mics already have the feature to double rapid press to skip track and triple rapid press to go to previous track. It is a really finicky sometimes. My iem's have this feature but it is kinda hard to do most of the time it just ends up pausing the track.

It might have that, but it seemed a bit glitchy on my phone. After I installed the app it worked as I wanted it to work. :)

you shouldn't need to program it to skip the next song,

3 quick presses will reverse sounds normally as well
2 quick presses will fast forward

It doesn't seem to work properly on Google play music. After getting the previously mentioned app, it works like a charm.

I only listen to Google Play Music on my Nexus 6P and the center button on the 3 button remote and the 1 button remote both work perfectly every time.  Also works properly with both on my Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 as well.  So maybe it's your phone that has the issue?  Either way, as long as it works now, you're good to go.

Nope, no known issues with my phone. I have a LG G4. I guess it doesn't work well LG phones in that case.

There's a lot of talk about hard cases.  I really like(ed) the leather case that came with these.  I somehow lost it out of my coat pocket.  The headphones were in use.  I found an old hard case I had that works perfectly because of the small size of these earpieces.  I bought it at Walmart around 2009, when I was using my first gen iPod Touch.  It's made by Griffin.  It folds into a stand for your phone (portrait only).  Not sure if it would work with the new huge phones but it's great for protecting the headphones.

I still wouldn't mind replacing the original leather case if it isn't too expensive.  It is really well made.

VMODA should definitely consider a hard case option for any upcoming earphones, my ZNs have been in and out of the leather case a lot and it has annoyed me so much I don't use the case any longer, it's always a pain to squeeze them in. It would also fit in nicely with their headphone range by supplying a mini hard case with the ZNs.

Here's the hard case I was talking about.  The headphones fit snugly but the case is well built and is still solid after years of use and fits well in the pocket.  I wouldn't use a case that didn't fit well in the pocket, especially during warm months where I don't have the extra coat pockets.  The only problem I can see is that if the headphones didn't fit so well, the case could be pushed open and pinch the cord but that's not a problem here.

This is the best case for iem's.

I have my ie80's and Zn's in this one.
