I am amazed with the S0!

I have to mention the S0 excels particularly in sound stage, imaging and neutrality along with presentation which I seem to prefer. The base is strong and fairly tight, mids feel open and beautiful, highs are presented in a smooth fashion, does not cause tinnitus, which is a plus for sensitive ears.

Slight fit issues due to long housing design, which can be easily resolved by changing tips.

Build quality of S0 is very good. Cable, housing and accessories and even the packing box is made up of high quality quality materials.

Pros : Sound Quality , Build Quality , Accessories,  Value.

Cons : Slight fit Issues for some.

It is safe to admit, the S0 is an excellent release and will be a strong contender in sub 100$ range.

Brainwavz, you got me :)

That's a bore and a half.

Actually I think I have some already, thanks. I assume the ones you're using is small size? That's making the bore look oversize.

Yep, small size. The bore hole is the same size as the tip of the nozzle.

+1 for wider bores. I prefer wider bores too. Kind of cleans up everything.

Agreed. Although I admit, not all IEMs really benefit from wide-bore tips (I'm looking at you, S5).

Wow. Lucky you, @peter123! I really like the colour matching.

I`ll post my impressions tomorrow as the Sound Apprentice just posted his review, it`s good to leave new reviews for a day or two since only the latest posted review shows up on the main page.

Nice impressions! I am liking the S0's more and more with each passing day...and Audrey over at Brainwavz has just supplied me with the new tiny, but capable, Brainwavz AP001 portable amp for testing. They make a great addition to the S0's, they just about make them sound perfect in my book. They should be tried out if in the market for a mini amp with a bit of punch to compliment the S0's(especially if sharing the music with another, the AP001's have dual output jacks  ).

I actually find the S0 to get overly bassy combined with the AP001. I enjoy it a lot more with more neutral IEM's but YMMV.

Great device though.
