Can Con 4.75 - Sydney Australia meet (30 November 2014)!

@sefu would it be possible to bring the akg k812?

I'm waiting on the demo stock but yeah why not.

What I might do is condense the list for the upcoming meet and bring the whole kit for Cancon 5. I mainly wanted to come down to meet everyone and see what gear you guys are using and of course bring some of my gear :)

I've been a long time lurker, time to get out and introduce myself

I'm glad to hear it. I've looked at your website before and thought about coming down - so I'd be glad to have a play and meet you as well.

I've only been to one, CanCon 4 - and it was great fun, so hopefully it all works out. :)

Hi Guys,
I have some more gear I can bring, I probably won't bring all of it but if there is demand I am happy to bring it along

 - Fostex TH900
 - Fostex HP-A8C
 - Oppo PM1
 - Oppo PM2
 - Oppo HA-1
 - Sennheiser HD600

I will have a variety of AKG Pro stuff in the next week or so as well.

BTW, I have all this and more on demo in my Chatswood showroom so you guys are welcome to come in and try

Theres a chatswood showroom?

Lvl 3, 224/813 pacific hwy, Chatswood.
Entry via Help st

I'm thinking about buying an Oppo HA-1 so it would be great to demo it. Also would be great to compare the TH900 with my TH600 and TH500RP.

I would also love to visit if the showroom is open on Saturday. (Sunday is even better since we have $2.50 all day deal on the Opal card).

Something I don't get about Australia (Europe is worse) is that many retailers are closed on the weekends when people want to go out shopping.
In Asia often the shops open between 11AM-8PM so office workers can buy things after work. Many shops close on Monday or Tuesday instead of the weekend.
It's weird to see hobby shops like Hi-Fi or musical instruments or DIY gardening etc closed on Sundays when people actually think about doing that kind of stuff.

Hey guys,
I appreciate your feedback. If you are interested in a Saturday viewing send me a pm, I'll be happy to have you guys in between 9:30am to 2pm. You can even come in today since I'll be doing some catchup.

At the moment not enough people. But hopefully we will get more people by end of this month~

How many do we need? I can bring some non-believer friends who always make fun of me for spending money on gears, I just don't know how many do we need?

We're almost at the end. Hopefully we can get the numbers we need.
I'm really keen on trying out some of the gear that's going to be on show, especially the glorious HD800 so I can dream about it more.

I have originally hoped for 30. But let me see at the end of the month and try to figure something out based on the number of people coming. I am happy to cover any short falls but only to a reasonable amount. In the past, members have provided donations (for example, wink (thank you!)) to assist the meet.

Of course you can bring your friends~ the friends will be marked as + something. At the registration please have them put your headfi id at the id section of the name tag.

Cheers,
Paul.
