Premium does have FLAC. Make sure you are selecting HiFi under settings.
You can use 3rd party apps to gain access to EQ.
They sound the same to me.

I mean premium doe snot have hifi
What third party apps can u use to eq tidal
UAPP cannot play offline files. There's more information on this in the UAPP thread.
When asked for other tools to EQ, I also use UAPP on my Android devices. I use Amarra for Tidal on desktop (not sure if this is Mac specific - I'm just not a Windows user much).
Comparing CD quality to Tidal, I concur they are equal. Though some have said there may be a certain equalization already applied to the versions from Tidal. Some songs have been reported to sound better than the original CD, as if some form of equalization was done to the copy at Tidal. I've not heard this - simple answer is definitely equal to CD quality.
Not sure if this has been resolved in this thread, but Tidal Support (via Twitter) told me to log out and log back into Tidal to resolve. It works.
A couple weeks into Audirvana+/Tidal trial cohabitation.
Tidal sounds very good. Direct comparison of Tidal flac to 16/44 rip (alac or aiff) of same material leaves me thinking Tidal is slightly bleached, not quite as round & naturally flowing. Wouldn't want to put $ on my ability to consistently pick-em, though.
Occasional stalling/looping (?) when jumping between cuts/albums.
Catalog? Surprising depth on some artists (including European albums new to me), then surprising gaps on others.
Nice one! The only downside I have noticed after a brief look is the lack of Tidal offline capabillity. Fortunately for me I am changing my mobile network operator to one that does not charge anything for music streaming services...but certainly a minus for others. Otherwise it is quite nice for a first attempt. I will have to check the sound quality later but there is plenty of options to fine tune the sound and save it for each of your headphones and/or specific uses. Initially pretty good! :)
Sennheiser have probably realized that there will be no need for Tidal offline capabillity from now on. That is what we call Germain precission here in Sweden! :-) I also noticed that it is compatible with DNLA and Airplay. I will give it a try with my Aries Mini as well to see how it turns out compared to Ligthning DS and BubbleDS Next.
What you are looking for is the ROON player. I haven't used the Tidal UI (Windows7) since I got Roon.
