IEMs with durable stock cords

Thread Starter

I'm looking for IEMs that have nice durable stock cords. I used to have Shure 530s remolded with inearz..the cord was durable but the custom mold attachment to the cord was weak and I lost the actual drivers....  I can't afford to spend that much this time, but obviously I'm looking for something that sounds as good as possible.  I'd like to target around $100 but since I have a pretty specific durability requirement and I don't want them to sound awful I could be talked into more, but only if something with acceptably good quality sound and durable doesn't exist @ $100.

Extra value to recommendations from folks who have had first hand experience with IEMs over a year!  I'm sick of IEM cord issues...multiple warranty replacements on the old shures, spending a couple hundred on the remold to have it fall apart...ugh.  Wasted way too much money.

Anyway, thanks for the advice.

If you want to give Shure another chance there's the se215. I have it, and their other models and I can say it's a big step up in terms of durability. And now the cable is detachable so you can replace it if needed(i still haven't damaged mines yet). But the stock cable is like 64 inches i think.

The RHA MA750 has one of the sturdiest stock cables I have come across.
