Yeah, same as what's in the ASG-2.5, except with a single BA I think. Doubt you'd be too interested if it's tuned like Rockets though

ASG 1+? Is that what AS is pushing out next?

Yeah, one of the Singaporean HFiers met up with Dale at a store event, and he had a buncha goodies to share, including some super secret phones that apparently sound mind blowing. The ASG-1+ was one of the new phones. No word on the secret phones but I'd assume that one of the new phones has gotta be a dual dynamic of some sort

If I'm not mistaken, I think you were the one having seal issues in the 1plus2 thread. Have you been able to resolve this yet? If not, it may be better if you did, so you could have an accurate impression of the iems in question.

Hi, seal issue is gone, a local forum member @Crashem, gave me 2 pairs of JVC tips, he also let me listen to his Ref1, you guys were dead on abut the JVC tips, perfect fit and don't come loose.
I am sorry, I just don't hear much upper tones from the Ref 1 and 1+2.

However, treble is not the only thing about music, I am buying a pair Ref1, I like the fullness on the vocal, sound stage, and love the bass.

i am not knowledgeable of Ref 1 or ASG 2.5 as I had not chance to try them.

but i would like to comment on highs/trebles. have you experienced loudspeakers that employ ring radiators or horns? ring radiators actually are believed to be the most accurate reproducers of highs. my first impression with them was mixed as i thought - hm, that's a bit dull, well.......... however visiting live venues i soon realised that these radiators tend to deliver most accurate reproduction of trebles and unparallel accuracy and depth..... hm... did i say depth in relation to trebles? yes, and i mean it, trebles do have depth to them

what actually stunned me on 1+2 was close resemblence to ring radiators, not as perfect i would say but closer than any IEM i heard to-date.

hopefully after taking a long vacation from headfi for business reasons i will have now more time and may have the possibility to listen to Ref 1 and ASG 2.5.

i own 1+2 and i am happy as pig with them, so i only can imagine what will happen to me when i hear Ref 1.

and since my experience with ASG 2 was also excellent i look ethusiastically forward to hearing may be ASG 2.5

i see Master Eke already reflected on ASG 2.5
