My D-25s died.

It just stopped working. It work fine for the first two days I had it, now it has no life/power. Does anyone know the number for Silicon Savage so I can call them. Thank you.

Are you running off of AC power or battery? Which AC adapter do you have?

Another thing to try: the lid sits up a little bit higher on the left side than on the right. Hold the lid down with your finger on the left side and see if the player works while you're holding it.

When it WAS working, was the display backlit by orange or yellow lights?

I do not see how it could be the AC Adaptor. I hooked everything up right to begin with, nothing was changed. The D-25s, and the adaptor were hooked up and in the same place from day one. I did pull it out to see if it was the electrical socket, but it did not work in other sockets as well.

The display lights?

When it was working, the display was lit up with white, or yellow lighting.

BTW, it CAN be the adapter -- it can die after a couple days' use just as easily as the player can.

Have you tried pressing down on the left side of the lid when you try playing it?

Any news? Was it the power adapter? Did pressing down the left side of the lid help? (How many times do I have to ask this question before I get a response? )

I see what you are talking about on the lid on the left side not being able to shut all the way. I tried, but it made no difference. I have not been to radioshack yet to test the adapator. Thanks for the replies.
