Dang it, I'm on my phone at work and can't use my computer. I wish I could go back and copy and paste some of the funny stuff from the Chinese thread...

I think one time I was heated because people were posting that the tenore is superior to +$1000 iems and custom mmonitors. I think I said something like...

"the tenore is a great iem, don't get me wrong, but it doesn't destroy everything in it's price range let alone custom made iems and all +$1000 models.

You're not going to see me running around with a boner and a pair of tenore in my ears, prophecizing that the tenore is the greatest iem ever made, because it would be misleading to people who are getting into this hobby"

Made me laugh

It will be a grand success if we all decide to copy and paste funny stuff from other threads.

I'm guessing that the guy in the second picture is listening to a pair of sennheisers, just a hunch...

BTW, sometimes when I listen to something I purchased and don't like it, I'll put it away for a while and come back to it. Today I did that with my sidy hk2. Please allow me to share my new impressions of them as I feel this thread is fitting.

The sidy hk1 is one of my all time favorite iems. I was geeked when I saw that there was a hk2 for sale on Penonaudio. I bought 2 pair without hesitation. I wish I would have used the cash spent on it to wipe my butt instead, as the hk2 might be the worst iem in history. They sound worse than any iem I've ever heard.

Truth be told, I would rather listen to my ex wife complain for 5 hours while holding two crying babies in a construction zone. My fake Pistons sound better than these things. The sad thing is that I was able to get my money back for the fake Pistons. With these I just have to accept the fact that they suck beyond measure.

Bass is bloated, midrange is muffled, and treble sounds like two blown speakers. I think the clearest sound I get from them is the popping from the crazy amount of driver flex.

Avoid the hk2 at all cost.

BTW I have a pair for sale. If anyone is interested pm me 😁

Still burning in at 15-20 hours but I like them.  I have to use the high gain setting on the C5 to get a fuller sound (I could use the low gain with my Dunu 1000s) but they are clear and precise.  They copy the sound in the sound file, so if it is thin, the sound to my ears is thin.  But if the mastering is good, they are really good.  I just changed out the tips from my standard Comply 500s to the silicons that came with them and they sound pretty good that way as well.

Keeping the Dunus as backups and selling my TF10s  as they are now being ignored.  Custom cable and standard cable included.
