JVC HA-FX101-A-E VS JVC HA-FX101B/R/G....ETC

Based on recommendations for a budget bass head IEM I have pulled the trigger on these monitors.  However I couldn't find them locally so I tried amazon.  There seem to be differences between the models and whether the overseas versions are better.

Here is what I ended up buying...

I hate the fact that they have the blue accents but I couldn't find these with the 10mm driver in any other color.

Now there are other versions available in the USA that are cheaper but they appear to have an 8.5mm driver...

I would love to have the black cord but if the bass quantity is lower with the smaller driver I can deal with it.

It seems like I have to wait a couple weeks for the ones I ordered to arrive, so I am asking if anyone has experience with both versions of these IEM's?

Is there a difference?

Was it just a typo?

Thanks,

Zac

It's a typo, the FX101 has 8.5mm drivers.

The iems which use a 10mm driver are the FX1X and FX3X.  You can check the specs on the official JVC websites.

Great, so I overpaid and will have to wait for a long time for the exact same IEM?

Hopefully I can cancel my order before it is too late.
