LOL!

It's true. They have a completely different sound. Different comfort. One is open; one is closed. One is more expensive. One is harder to drive. One is more portable.

Why do you think so many of us have several headphones? I don't understand how anyone can expect to have the best experience out of one pair wink.gif

Niice! I personally would swap up to the k702 or the k712 d/t comfort reasons for home use and move over to the k545 for portable use if sticking to two AKG headphones.

The M4U1s are fantastic headphones, however for me they are very fatiguing on my ears. I wouldn't recommend them to people who like to listen to any fast/heavy genres like rock or metal. They are very loud and sharp sounding and the drivers sit right against your ears. They need a good Amp/dac to overcome this issue. They are well worth their price. If you don't listen to fast, loud, heavy or highly compressed music then I would recommend them highly.
