Funny you should ask. Got the angles on my 150s. Definitely got to get used to the feel of the things. Much higher clamping, and the pads don't quite get full round, so they need to be aligned with your ears properly. But, if my big sticky-out ears can fit, anybodys can. The over all sq is the same as the standard pleather, but I find the stage is a little more forward.
You still using the stock pads? The hm5 are thicker, so that could be enough clearance for you - my ears just barely brushed the drivers with the standard (hm5)pads, no contact at all with the angleds.
Don't think I've read any mention of the hybrids though. Maybe you should get those, and fill us in
