Durable IEMs for under $150

Hello everyone!
I am looking for a new pair of IEMs for $150 or under. The lower the price the better however I am looking for something with the best sound quality and build I can get.

I am looking for something durable since I use my headphones all day everyday and seem to have a terrible habit in breaking my IEMs no matter how I keep them. The last pair of "higher end" IEMs I had were the RE0 which lasted me about 3 months before the housing completely fell apart. This kind of turned me away from spending more than $5 on headphones but I figured I'd give it another shot.

I listen to a wide variety of music so a IEM with a well rounded sound is key. Also they would have to have good isolation and have little to no sound leakage. These will mainly be used with my Iphone 4s.

If anyone could give me some suggestions of some IEMs to check out that would be awesome.

Also if anyone has some tips on keeping my IEMs in good condition that would also be great!

Thanks!

Hi,

You should consider Yamaha's EPH-100.

EPH-100s are metal made, and include a carrying case.

If you don't cut their cable and take care of using them with your ears dry, then they should last for years. My brother own a pair since about 2 years and they work perfectly.

Best Luck!
