Does anybody make an open headphone with a snap on cover one can use when more isolation is required?

Beyerdynamic makes the COPs (Custom One Pros) headphones, only 16-Ohm, great for use with portable audio.

They come with small bass ports, the ports come with 4 settings.

Thanks, Interesting.  Not quite what I'm after. I want an open headphone that I can close with an accessory back.   Perhaps there is some engineering issue with what I want.  It seems strange that nobody has thought of it if it is possible.

I'm guessing it's not easy to design a headphone that sounds good both open and closed.

I think it would be great if you could design and sell one that could.

I guess the answer is to have two headphones to cover both contingencies.

You probably could do it - as long as you are willing to have it sound bad 50% of the time... tongue.gif
