No problem. They work very well with the Bravo v2 altough I still like them better with the Magni, E12 and the LD 1+.

Again I'd recommend you to check out the Topping NX1 for a portable solution . It get extremely good impressions from people I trust. Mine has been in the mail from China for the last six weeks so I'm starting to doubt that I'll ever see it.

Also, I just paid $90 for my FiiO E12 shipped so it's possible with some patience, just saying ;)

I'm surprised. Unless I missed it, no one in this thread suggested the FiiO E11 yet. That's a great portable amp for within your budget range.

Have you listened to the Q701 yet? What are you looking for out of them that you're not getting now?

I don't own, nor do I have much experience with portable amps outside of some of the lower end Fiio portables which I don't care for much. If I were in your shoes, I'd try saving up a little bit and look at either a Schiit Magni or Vali. You might be able to pick either one of them up around the $80-$100 range on the used forums.

I am looking for something magni sized or smaller (6 inches by 6 inches at the biggest) as I said, I will be taking it to and from work everyday, but I will not be using it portably.

May I ask where you got the e12 for 90? I can't even find it under 110

I got mine on eBay from a seller that accepted my "Best offer". It was a while ago so unfourtynately I don't remeber the seller.

If you're in the US I'm pretty sure it can be had for around that price from time to time (at least that's what I've read in the deal threads).

I really think it would be a great solution for you since it's truely portable and also works while charging. It has enough power for most headphones as well.

I have q701s and have tried a few Amps, don't bother with Fiio Eo2i my iPhone sounded better without it. I know these are both over what you're looking to spend, but I had portability high on my list until I heard a Dacmagic xs next to a Fiio E07k the xs was in a different league and I can highly recommend it.
Do you really need an amp before a decent dac?
