I had a cord go bad on some PC-350s. I ripped them apart and cut the cord short and have soldered the connections back on. The sound seems OK but the microphone is not working. So I wonder if anyone can help me pin point the problem. When I plug the microphone in and try to listen all I get is white noise. It is pretty loud and I can alter it by shaking the cord around but talking into the mic does nothing at all. I don't hear my voice or any room sounds I only here white noise. Is there a typical mistake that causes this problem? Is it a sign of a short or ?......
