Long time lurker...haha. Just thought I'd just share my quick impressions of these. I've had these for just under a week. Aside from these I have a couple of other sets - Sunrise XCape IE, Vsonic GR07.
Compared to the GR07, with the Altones everything sounds clearer, however the GR07 still does the lows better imho - feels like there is more body to the lows with the GR07.
The difference between the Xcape and these is more marked (with the Xcape having an overall 'smoother' sound, and the Altones having more clarity), but don't get me wrong, all 3 of these IEMs are pretty good value.
Where I feel the Altone200s really shine is the treble/highs - this is probably the area where the BA drivers take over and it shows. The sound is articulate and/but has the trademark (to me) metallic BA sound. (the metallic sound of BAs were what put me off the Bainwavz B2 and other BAs previously)
The only niggle I've had is that sometimes the highs can sound a little harsh even at moderate volumes (20 on the Hidizs AP100). After some mucking about swapping tips around I've found that Sony hybrid tips work to reduce this harshness to an extent, and this is what I currently have on them.
As a side note, if anyone is interested, the tips from the Sunrise Xcape fit these, and Comply foam tips T/Ts-400 will fit as well.
