Hello ;). I'm happy westone 4's owner, but I think I should go into ciem. First question is about sound changes between iem and ciem. I heard many conflicting opinions and I'm a bit confused. Second thing is which ciem choose. My dap is studio V. Thanks :D

Just like all headphones, CIEMs come in a variety of shapes/sizes/sounds/prices, so you'll need to narrow down your wants before we can really give solid advice.

Do you have a price range in mind?

I wrote only about w4 and studio V, because I want same/very similar sound. Price? About 500-600$. I know I can remold my w4 and cost remold+w4 is about 550$, so if I can pay less for something like remolded w4 it would be nice ;).

If you're happy with the westone's why change?

I'm lickerish ;). I think about remold/ciem, because I want an upgrade and I don't know whether it is worth. I know my english is bad and I should feel bad ;<

Nothing wrong with the english so no need to feel bad :)

A remold will offer the benefit of a good fit everytime without messing about with tips,  If done right it shouldn't alter the sound that much.  Inearz does it for about $95 or so I think.

Ok, I just heard about changes in a soundstage. Fit and isolation isn't priority. I'm from Europe so I don't know if it worth to send them to US(I can remold them for 200$, but ship and engraving are much cheaper).

If you are not in a hurry then Cosmic Ears are based in Sweden and are just about to open up a uk lab. They do reshells for £125, though the options for customization are a little more limited.  See cosmicears.com for more.  There are some delays atm with emails due to the lab opening up.
