I keep reading about how great they are for the money and how they sound like much more expensive headphones. What type of music do they sound best with? I also read the soundstage isn't good with them. That also makes me re-think buying them.

What budget did you have for headphones?

The HA-S400s are good sounding headphones, for their price, not a lot of bass, but decent enough.

Check out the Takstar Pro 80 headphones

Well, at their price range I think it outperforms a lot of headphones in respect to bass.  I wouldn't say it has enough bass for dubstep or anything bass intensive like that, but would be enough to be enjoyable for most rock.  I can't really speak on the sound stage, I have depth perception issues which makes me a horrible judge.

The S400 is a great headphone for $25, and I think that they are hard to beat. You can definitely do better, though, with a bigger budget.

Well are there any 100 dollar headphones on the radioshack website that you could recommend?
