Hi (Noob Alert!!)
I've had my HD25s for about four years, not a single issue with them, but I've got the curly cable and they're a little on the heavy side and dont have a mic for my iphone or Macbook.
I can't really justify spending 40 quid on one cable and then another 72 quid on the Sennheiser Amperior cable... call me tight, but I could get a whole new set of earphones for that sorta cash!
Anyway I was wonder about hacking the curly cable I have already got and adding a micro XLR to it. Allowing me to play out with curly cable if I want to (I DJ a little) as well as maybe marrying it up to this one for day to day office work!
Has anyone done this at all, if so how well did it go and would you recommend it?
I was deciding against just using a 3.5mm jack due the lack of durability on it. Apparently mini XLRs are the nuts!
I did do a search on the forum and via Google, so apologies if I've created a duplicate thread!
