What is the USB chip used in NFB-11.32(2014) ?

It' VIA, I'm guessing it's the VT1731.

is that a good chip though ? how well is it compared with the Tenor and C-media chips ?

I have no idea on how well the VIA 32/384 chip compares to the Tenor or C-Media.

I would guess(?) the Tenor is better then the C-Media.

I would assume Audio-GD could have used any of the USB chips listed and I'm assuming they thought the VIA was the better choice.

The VIA might even have a little more of a "driver" issue, then the Tenor/C-Media, but Audio-GD still sticks to the VIA.
